What are the costs?

For a private tour up to 4 persons the group price is €105.

If the group consists of more than 4 people (maximum 15), the costs are €23 per person. Children up to 6 years free; from 6 to 12 years €10,50 per child.

These rates apply only if the tour is booked and invoiced for the entire group in one go. All mentioned prices are incl. VAT and apply during 2026.

Which tour should I choose?

Depending on your interests, you can choose one of our nine city walks, each of which will take you to a special part of beautiful Amsterdam.

This walk takes you past the well-known but also the lesser-known places in the old city center and takes you to places you do not yet know exist.

When is my tour?

You choose two preferred dates and then contact us. This can be done by telephone or by e-mail via the contact form .

Where does my tour start?

After receiving your reservation you will receive a confirmation e-mail from Historisch Amsterdam. It states where the tour starts and ends. 

What time does my tour start?

Your tour will start at 2:00 PM unless otherwise arranged.

Make sure you are at the departure point at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour. Historic Amsterdam strictly adheres to the agreed starting time. If you are unable to attend for any reason, please call +31630142911.

If you or your group are more than 15 minutes late, without having reported this by telephone, Historisch Amsterdam can cancel your booking. In that case there will be no refund of your payment.

Maximum number of participants per tour

A maximum number of 15 participants applies to all guided tours, unless otherwise agreed.

Transport and parking

Because parking in Amsterdam is expensive and parking spaces are scarce, we advise you to use public transport or bicycle to get to the starting point of the tour. In your confirmation you will find tips on how to travel to the departure point by tram, bus or metro.

Informative and relaxing

During the tour you will receive a lot of information, but of course we will also tell you the necessary anecdotes. Through his former work as a photographer, the guide also teaches you to look at and experience the city in a special way. This will also take you to the most photogenic places, so don't forget your camera!

In mutual consultation it can always be decided to make a stopover for a cup of coffee or a drink during the tour (at your own expense).
