Admire the special Diamantbuurt where many diamond workers once lived and the impressive De Dageraad residential complex.
The Diamantbuurt is rich in special buildings and monuments.
At the end of the Diamantstraat is the monumental building of Diamantslijperij Asscher, where the largest diamond in the world, the Cullinan, was once cut.
You enter Rivierenbuurt via the beautiful residential complex De Dageraad in Amsterdam School style. The tour ends at De Wolkenkrabber by architect JF Staal and at the statue of HP Berlage made by city sculptor Hildo Krop.
The guide will take you to the house where Anne Frank and her family lived from 1933 to 1942 and to the house of Gerard Reve where the book De Avonden is set.
